It looks like there are two models of USB versions of this touchpad. Is there anything I’m missing? It appears to be recognized e. I’m tiuchpad Natty Narwhal.

Getting touchpad to work in desktop ubuntu Ask Question. Sometimes a particular library doesn’t touchpaad well with your device and you may need to uninstall a driver make sure you have a regular USB mouse just in case or force the device to register with a different driver via Xorg.

I also get the same continual usb reset messages in my at. It also shows up in gpointing-device-settings. For mice this tends to get handled by Xorg since most of the time a mouse is used with touchpd GUI unless you are using gpm or something similar. I managed to get my hands on the U version an older version and it works fine, including the side scrolling scrollwheel simulation. Does anyone know how to tell if the correct drivers are loaded into the kernel?

But, if I plug in my Adesso Cirque Touchpad USB directly into laptop, it does not work tuchpad the cursor does not move nor do the button click. The Cirque Corporation touchpad I’m assuming that’s the component name is the touchpad.
